Online Investing Site: Visit the e-Services section and follow the instructions provided under the heading "Update Your Account Profile".
By Phone: Contact an investment services representative at 1-800-769-2560.
By Mail: Download an Update and Change form
and return it to either the address or fax number listed below.
OR
Send a letter of direction to the address or fax number below. Be sure to include your account number(s), signature, and a phone number where you can be reached.
Note: Although a post office box number may be provided for your mailing address, Canadian Securities Regulations require that you also provide us with a permanent street address for our records.

Your address will be changed within approximately 2 business days following receipt of your request. To change your address with RBC Royal Bank, you will need to submit a separate request.
For security reasons, a request to change your bank account information cannot be accepted by e-mail. Please choose one of the following options:

Once received, the change will take approximately 1 to 2 business days to be processed.
The BC Unclaimed Property Act requires holders of unclaimed property to make reasonable efforts to locate the owners of that property when contact with the owner has been lost for a period of time greater than 6 months. Contact is most frequently lost when someone changes their residential address but does not notify RBC Direct Investing of that change. If you currently have an account with RBC Direct Investing and have recently moved or have done business with us in the past while you were a resident of British Columbia and suspect you have assets or monies on deposit with us, we urge you to contact our call center at 1-800-769-2560.
One of our investment services representatives will be happy to perform a search of our database in order to help you identify unclaimed property and/or provide you with information on how to reclaim assets or monies that rightfully belong to you or update your personal information on file with RBC Direct Investing.
