RBC Direct Investing sponsors Bay Street Hoops 2008
For the second consecutive year, RBC Direct Investing was a proud sponsor of the Bay Street Hoops basketball tournament held recently in Toronto. Bay Street Hoops is one of Toronto’s premier charity sports events. Since 1995 Bay Street Hoops has raised close to $1,600,000 for children’s charities in the greater Toronto area. This year’s goal was to raise over $220,000.
More than 800 players from Toronto’s leading law and accounting firms, financial services companies and other corporations participated in this event. The funds raised at the event will go to two local charities – Special Olympics Ontario and Serve!
