Fund transfers from an RBC Royal Bank account to your RBC Direct Investing account using RBC Online Banking, Direct Investing Online Investing, or the RBC Mobile app are processed in real time between the hours of 4:30 a.m. and 7:54 p.m. ET, seven days a week. Transfers into an RBC Direct Investing account made outside of these hours will be processed the next morning. Transfers out of your RBC Direct Investing account to an RBC Royal Bank account are processed in real-time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. ET, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). Transfers out of your RBC Direct Investing account made outside of these hours will be processed the next business day. Locked-in, Registered Retirement Income Fund, and Registered Education Savings Plan (transfer out only) accounts excluded. Other conditions apply.

MyAdvisor is an online platform from RBC where you can view your financial information including visual representations (charts and graphs) of your retirement readiness, net worth, cash flow, and financial goal tracking. You can also see how varying your current approach can affect your savings and goals. The MyAdvisor platform also enables you to book an appointment with an RBC advisor and to meet with your advisor using video chat or phone to open new accounts, including investment accounts, and get advice on meeting your financial goals.
Financial planning services and investment advice are provided by Royal Mutual Funds Inc. (RMFI). Investment advice provided by RMFI may be delivered through the MyAdvisor platform. RMFI, RBC Global Asset Management Inc., Royal Bank of Canada, Royal Trust Corporation of Canada and The Royal Trust Company are separate corporate entities which are affiliated. When you enrol your eligible RBC personal bank account into the RBC Value Program, you will be eligible to earn Avion points within the Avion Rewards Program as an Eligible Personal Banking Client, and any such points earned will be deposited into the Avion Rewards account tied to your enrolled account. Purchases from your account refers to using your RBC Client Card to pay for items at a merchant or service provider with the amount electronically debited directly from your enrolled account or using your RBC Virtual Visa Debit for purchases online. By enrolling an eligible RBC personal bank account into the RBC Value Program, holding eligible additional RBC products (“Product Categories”, as more particularly described below), and completing certain activities from your enrolled account each month (as more particularly described below), you may be entitled to receive a partial or full rebate of your enrolled account’s standard Monthly Fee. Eligible Product Categories include RBC personal credit cards, personal investments, residential mortgages, and linked small business relationships. Multiple products in a single Product Category will be considered one Product Category. In addition to having eligible Product Categories, you must also perform any two (2) or more of the following specified account activities in the previous calendar month to or from your enrolled account: a monthly direct deposit, a monthly pre-authorized payment, or an eligible bill payment made at minimum once per month. An eligible bill payment means a bill payment completed through either RBC Online Banking, the RBC Mobile app, using an RBC ATM, or using Telephone Banking Services, and excludes any bill payment made: (i) in-person at an RBC Royal Bank branch with an RBC Advisor, (ii) to an RBC credit card account, or (iii) using an RBC Virtual Visa Debit® associated with your Enrolled Account. The Avion Rewards program is offered by Royal Bank of Canada and is subject to the
Avion Rewards Terms & Conditions. You may only use your Avion points through RBC DI to: (1) pay for trade commissions on your eligible RBC Direct Investing accounts; or (2) transfer points for cash contributions to your eligible RBC Direct Investing accounts. It is your responsibility to make sure you have sufficient contribution room within your registered plan when redeeming points for cash contributions to your registered accounts and/or when you use your Avion points to pay for trade commissions on a registered account. The Canada Revenue Agency may apply tax penalties for over-contributions. RBC Direct Investing is not responsible for any such penalties.

Eligible RBC student clients with an RBC Advantage Banking for students account (RBC Student Banking account and/or RBC No Limit Banking for Students account) and who also have an RBC Direct Investing account are eligible to receive a waiver of the RBC Direct Investing account quarterly maintenance fee (the “Fee Waiver”). (Note: Effective April 27, 2021, the RBC Student Banking and RBC No Limit Banking for Students accounts are no longer available for sale. However, eligible student clients who opened either of these account types prior to April 27, 2021 may still receive the Fee Waiver if they meet all other applicable criteria.) The Fee Waiver will apply: i) while the client is an RBC student client; and ii) for five years after the client ceases to be a RBC student client, as long as any personal deposit account is maintained with RBC Royal Bank. In the case of RBC Direct Investing joint accounts, the Fee Waiver will be allowed for the younger of the joint account holders only, based on the dates of birth we have in our records for such joint accountholders.
