Transfer funds from my RBC Royal Bank® account to my RBC Direct Investing accountFrom the Transfer Cash page under My Portfolio, use the dropdown menus to transfer funds between your RBC Direct Investing accounts and any RBC Royal Bank accounts (CDN to CDN or U.S. to U.S.) connected to your RBC Client Card. Funds transferred TO your RBC Direct Investing account will be available immediately when the request is made between 4:30 a.m. and 7:54 p.m. ET, seven days a week. If the transfer is requested after 7:54 p.m., the funds will be available in your RBC Direct Investing account by 4:30 a.m. This applies to cash, margin, RRSP and TFSA accounts. Funds transferred FROM your RBC Direct Investing account will be available immediately when the request is made between 9 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. ET, Monday to Friday (except holidays). Transfer my accounts to RBC Direct InvestingUse the transfer form in the RBC Direct Investing site to transfer accounts from other financial institutions. Here's how you do it: On the Transfer in from Another Institution page under My Portfolio, select the type of account you wish to transfer into. If you are transferring your investment, registered retirement, or TFSA accounts, you'll be presented with the automated Online Transfer forms. For RESPs and pension accounts, you'll be presented with a PDF version of this form. Please complete the appropriate form, making sure to provide all of the required information. Transfers within RBC can take anywhere from three to seven days. Transfers from other institutions can take two to six weeks. Remove a de-listed stock from my accountSometimes a security may stop trading on a recognized exchange and is deemed worthless. If this happens to one of your securities you can have it removed from your RBC Direct Investing account. (You can also, of course, keep the security in your account, if that's what you'd prefer.) To remove a worthless security from your account, please complete our Worthless Security Checklist. You can download and submit it from the "Forms & Agreements" page under My Portfolio. Select the form that corresponds to your account type, either non-registered or registered. Once a security is removed from your account record as worthless it cannot be reinstated even if it regains value or starts to trade again.
